Feldenkrais Workshop

Freeing the Top of the Spine for a Comfortable Neck

Day: Saturday 1 June 2019

Cost: £20.00

Time: 12 - 2pm

IHow does this part of our spine perform differently from the rest? How can we free those joints and those close by (for example the jaw) which all contribute to comfort around the neck and shoulders. What muscles do we habitually over use and how can we ‘trick’ them into working less. We will look at all this and more in this workshop.

Feldenkrais Workshop

The Long Spine

Day: Saturday 13 April 2019

Cost: £20.00

Time: 12 - 2pm

In this workshop we will explore how our mental image of our spine affects the way we move. We will learn in more detail where it begins and ends, and which parts are more flexible. Flexibility is sometimes limited by our self image, by identifying more clearly how we move habitually we give ourselves choices about how we move.

Feldenkrais Workshop

Balancing Act

Day: Saturday 16 March 2019

Cost: £20.00

Time: 12 - 2pm

In this workshop we will explore the nature of balance. Strength and balance are not well served by static immovable structures. The more we fix our joints, the more difficult it will be to balance .

Come and explore this idea in our March workshop.
