Pilates is a method of exercising which tones and lengthens the muscles, creating a balanced body. Known to improve posture, and to increase strength and flexibility. Pilates is ideal for rehabilitation of injuries – particularly back pain – and an enjoyable way to get more in touch with your body.

Originally a professional dancer, Vanessa has been teaching Pilates for ten years. She is a member of  the Pilates Foundation UK Ltd whose training programme is one of the most rigorous in the UK.

COURSE DETAILS

This course is aimed at teachers who have completed their matwork training, and are current members of the Pilates Foundation (conversion course for non PF members is available). Reach your full potential as a teacher, recognising what your clients’ need, responding sensitively to their abilities, to allow for real lasting change. All major Pilates equipment covered Develop your skills in a real teaching environment, in a fully equipped plates studio, alongside a very experienced teacher.

Pilates Matwork Teacher Training Beginning November 2017


COURSE DETAILS


This course is designed to equip learners with the skills required for a career as a Pilates mat work teacher. It is accredited by the Pilates Foundation UK. The course will focus on mat work, and applied anatomy. The course offers an optional route to CYQ Level 3 accreditation. This course will prepare you to become a competent and effective Pilates teacher who can deal with clients of all levels and ages.

The course will be structured over 12 months, during 13 weekends consisting of Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays, giving you 200 hours of contact time with your tutors.
